Kashiwabara Art Museum
A samurai museum, where you can see armor and swords!
Kashiwabara Art Museum is famous for its exhibits of antique weaponry, many of which are rare across the whole of Japan. The museum is located in front of the Ropeway Base Station of Iwakuni Castle.
Visitors can learn about Japan’s distinguished traditional culture, artistry, and rich spirituality through various exhibits including ceramic and glass craftworks, calligraphy and painting, armor, swords, jinbaori (formal battle coats), and harnesses.
This art museum was awarded a star in the Michelin Green Guide to Japan.
