Nishikigawa Seiryu Line
Iwakuni’s local train line allows you to enjoy the four seasons from the train window.
The Nishikigawa Seiryu Line is a local train line, 38.3 km in length, from Kawanishi Station to Nishikicho Station, both within Iwakuni City. JR Iwakuni Station is connected to Nishikicho Station by a journey of around 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Views of the clear Nishiki River and the seasonal nature of Iwakuni City can be seen from the train window, making the journey enjoyable no matter how many times you board.
From Nishikicho Station, on weekends and holidays outside of the winter season (December to February), the sightseeing tram line “Tokotoko Train” to Sozukyo Hot Spring is operated.
